Our journey began with a lifelong love of football, led by head coach Leon Kirton, involved in the game since he could walk. Leon has competed across grassroots and elite levels, representing England at the World Schools Football Cup and becoming an under-16 national champion. Today, that experience shapes a child-centred coaching philosophy focused on confidence, enjoyment, development, and long-term growth for young players at every stage of their journey.
LK Coaching started with football and a simple belief: every child deserves the chance to feel confident, included and excited to take part. That belief now runs through everything we do.
Progress looks different for every young person. For one child it might be a sharper first touch. For another, it is joining in, trying again or leaving with a smile.
Our sessions are purposeful, positive and adapted to the person in front of us.
